Pretty Slick Model Stand

Getting older is not an option but making life easier when working on your
models certainly is. A 1 x 4 pine cradle, an old camera tri-pod, a couple
of 10/32 x 1 3/4 bolts and two wing nuts is the simple ticket for this
set-up.

Assembling your model at the field with this set-up is great but the biggest
PLUS I found is using it in your workshop. The tilt, swivel, telescoping
tri-pod puts the model at any angle or height. It's like another set of
'steady' hands when working at home.
